100 days: Stories of immigrants and dresses [2] #66

My grandmother used to wear a saree under her boiler suit to work in the battery packs factory. My mum was a pretty Indian woman in the 60s running around in feminine high heels and miniskirts. I wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday, and my sister only wear beige or black jumpers. How far we’ve come.
